THE STROPPIES "Levity" LP LAUNCH

The Stroppies Launch their second LP Levity this May at the John Curtin Hotel. Playful yet focused, but broader in scope and experimentation than previous efforts, the ten songs that comprise Levity continue the band's exploration of the pop song as both foil for experimentation and conduit for personal reflection. This performance will be the Stroppies first in Australia since returning from their UK tour supporting Paul Weller(the Jam). The Stroppies off-kilter pop will be augmented by old and new friends Possible Humans (REM meets Neil Young & Crazy horse meets Wire), The Glass Picture (Baroque casio Pop ft members of PRIMO, The Green Child, Blank Statements) and The Toads (new mystery group extraordinaire).
